Water is a Universal need, not only humans but all living things need it to survive, it’s our daily routine to drink so the quality of our water should be good for it to be safe for drinking, and thus it can be apply to other living organisms especially to fishes because it’s where there world are all about, for them to survive is to have good water quality. Fish execute all their bodily role in water because fish are entirely dependent upon water to nurture, excrete wastes, recreate and maintain their salt balance, having a comprehension on the physical and chemical characteristics of water is very important to succeed in managing Aquaculture Industry. This study determines the physico-chemical characteristics of the fishpond water in Barangay Villarosa, Villareal Samar. Specifically, it sought answers to the following questions: 1. What are the physico-chemical characteristics of pond water in Macopa, Villareal Samar according to the following parameters: 1.1 Physical:

1.1.1 TDS
1.1.2 Temperature
1.1.3 DO
1.1.4 Salinity
1.1.5 Turbidity
1.2 Chemical:
1.2.1 pH
1.2.2 Phosphate
2.Is there any significant difference between the physico-chemical characteristics of fishpond water in, Sitio Kalangkaan Brgy, Villarosa, Villareal Samar with the standard set by BFAR? Null Hypothesis
